Montreal Canadiens 100th Year Commemorative Watch

I won a watch! How? With a twitter trivia contest that the Montreal Canadiens decided to have since they got their 100,000 follower. A Co-worker and long time friend Kent Villard happen to see on twitter (Before I did that day) That the habs were giving away 5 watches. They were going to ask 5 trivia questions, and the first person to respond on twitter with the correct answer would win a watch valued at $300. With 100,000 followers, it was a long shot, but heyI had as good of chance as any:

"Jazzman" 5th in Google Search

This morning I did a search for "Jazzman" on google.ca and was quite surprised with my findings. At this moment my site is on the first page of results, 5th on the page (excluding the video results). Considering its only been recently that I have put the time and effort into this site, I find it amazing that I am on the first page of google results. So what's above the thejazzman.ca?

The Jazzman Goes Drupal

It has been a long time coming, but thejazzman.ca has finally gone live using the content management system Drupal.

In August 2007, I accepted as position at the University of Prince Edward Island and heard the name Drupal for the first time. For the first few months, (of course not understanding what it really did), I didn't like it. After really getting into the nuts and bolts of the system, and working in it for the past 2 years, I have grown to realize the power and ease of it.
