The Jazzman Goes Drupal
It has been a long time coming, but thejazzman.ca has finally gone live using the content management system Drupal.
In August 2007, I accepted as position at the University of Prince Edward Island and heard the name Drupal for the first time. For the first few months, (of course not understanding what it really did), I didn't like it. After really getting into the nuts and bolts of the system, and working in it for the past 2 years, I have grown to realize the power and ease of it.
"Drupal is a free software package that allows an individual or a community of users to easily publish, manage and organize a wide variety of content on a website. Tens of thousands of people and organizations are using Drupal to power scores of different web sites. - Drupal.org"
I realize to the average web user, that this blog post probably means nothing, but I am very excited to introduce the new thejazzman.ca V3.0 website in Drupal.
